Our founder reimagined an entire new standard for what a protein bar could be. Instead of protein bar flavors that are the same as the next, and texture that just isn't palatable, the focus is placed entirely on chef-level execution.

Allan
FounderBorn and raised in Southern California (shoutout Hacienda Heights!), Allan grew up playing basketball, exploring the food scene, and eventually graduating with a degree in Business Management. What started as a way to save money, cooking in college quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. After a brief stint in corporate sales, he pivoted entirely to the culinary world and would eventually move to New York to be right in the center of it all. Shaped by kitchens such as Kato, Momofuku, Tonchin, and The Langham, Allan learned how truly special food can be. When the idea for AYAN sparked, he channeled his experience as a chef into the first iterations of the AYAN bar, and would eventually spend the next two years launching AYAN. Today, he’s thrilled to finally share it all with you.
Day
Head of SocialsBorn and raised in NYC, Day has always been independent, curious, and willing to try new things. Fitness became important to her at a young age as her parents put her through dance, tennis, gymnastics, little league, and more before she settled on volleyball, making captain and MVP (go Cats!). After college and a lot of gym hopping, she found herself struggling to balance life and fitness until she discovered Pilates. Walking into a local studio, she took a class that changed her life. She got hooked and decided to take a 450 hour comprehensive teacher training where she worked to become a certified Pilates teacher based in Brooklyn. Staying health conscious and always striving to hit her protein goals, she is excited & honored to share the story of AYAN.
